DOGTOWN exhibit Aug 17 - Sept 26

This August, Venice Arts is proud to present "Dogtown," an evocative photography exhibit by photographer Dotan Saguy. The exhibit opens on Saturday August 17th (4-7pm) to celebrate the unique canine culture of Venice Beach, once known as Dogtown in the 1970s. It will feature 57 prints from the book and a percentage of all sales will go to support photography education for low-income youth.

Through Saguy's lens, viewers are invited to explore the rich tapestry of life in this iconic neighborhood, where dogs and humans coexist in an ever-vibrant urban landscape. "Dogtown" captures the spirit of Venice Beach, showcasing its eclectic mix of characters, both human and canine. Each photograph tells a story of the community's deep-rooted bond with their furry companions, reflecting moments of joy, adventure, and companionship. Saguy brings to life the essence of Venice Beach, highlighting its history, culture, and the unbreakable bond between its residents and their dogs. Join us at Venice Arts to experience this captivating journey through the eyes of Venice Beach's beloved four-legged friends.
